19 BewertungenAvril Lavigne - Avril Lavigne
01 Rock N Roll -> 5/5 - Great album intro, a pop song with rock attitude that you'll either hate or totally adore. The latter one is exactly my case. :D Avril saved my music-playlist during Summer as there wasn't much great music then to jam to. She shot one of the best videos this year for it and it's so damn sad that RnR completely flopped WW.....

02 Here's To Never Growing Up -> 5/5 - April 9th, waking up at 9 AM only for Avril to hear the highly anticipated comeback single and it was all worth it. I played it that day like over 50 times. Brings back so many memories from my last primary school years..... :) It didn't turn out into the big hit-single she needed, but it's my fav/biggest single of the year and I guess no other single will change that. HTNGU has really changed me as a person, if you let the kid inside you die, you'll just become boring. :P

03 17 -> 5/5 - I was already blown away by Seventaaaahn when she performed it for the first time in the Viper Room. Nostalgic and poppy mid-tempo that will make you remember how good your childhood and adolescence actually were. 17 is also a really special year for me as it was the last year that my best friend was still alive.....

04 Bitchin' Summer -> 5/5 - I would've never believed that Avril would title one of her songs like that, but she really did it!! One of my favourites on AL, she doesn't really try hard, but she still comes across like a girl in high school that every guy wants to be friends with. Even though it's getting colder outside, BS really fits my mood atm and I can't stop replaying it !!

05 Let Me Go (feat. Chad Kroeger) -> 5/5 - The first track in long time that reminds of the ''Under My Skin'' era and Avril still knows how to do it. There are many ppl that want her to go back to these days, but honestly I couldn't live without Av's bratty pop/rock anthems. Chavril did an great job with this track, their voices flow together perfectly and along with the music video,.....goosebumps!!!!

06 Give You What You Like -> 5/5 - Outstanding track, no joke, this is beyond stunning. It's the first of the 3 tracks on this album where Avril's experimenting with new styles. Would have been a massive hit if released earlier, but now if LMG flops aswell, I'm not really sure if it will able to take off like it deserves. Close yourself in your room, turn the lights off and you'll feel the magic. W-O-W!! :o

07 Bad Girl (feat. Marilyn Manson) -> 4/5 - Again somethin' new from Avril. Makes you wanna rock out just like during RnR. It didn't really catch me yet, but it's totally worth listening. Marilyn's part could've been way longer.

08 Hello Kitty -> 5/5 - What should I say? Who would've ever predicted Avril releasing somethin like this? xD Fun, silly and really naughty, the verses are life giving, a real bop, but even better through headphones. Her record label should definitely scrap LMG in Asia and let the Kitty slay dem like it needs to. LIKE A PHAT KID ON A PACK OF SMARTIES !!!!! Meow <33

09 You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet -> 3/5 - It's not a bad song, but compared to the rest of the album it is the weakest track. Catchy verses and the chorus is infectious aswell. Could live without it tbh, but as it's already here, let's just enjoy it

10 Sippin' On Sunshine -> 5/5 - Well, here comes my new happy anthem !!! :D :D That's what I call BAD verses, but I don't give a single sh!t   Just love it :)

11 Hello Heartache -> 5/5 - Ok, I really give up on Epic..... Why wasn't this the first single ??? It just screams Pop/HAC smash  It's definitely one of my favourites, but I'll let some time pass before I choose my fav favourite  Epic song !!!!! wow :D :D

12 Falling Fast -> 5/5 - Drown me into heaven, dry me up with roses and kiss me asleep..... lol, this is how I feel when listening to this song..... Just brilliant !!!! It's even on pair with ''Innocence'', that's how stunning it is. omg

13 Hush Hush -> 5/5 - This is for sure the last song we'll get to hear from Avril in a long while, as I'm sure that after this album she's going to take a longer break. I don't want her to , but let's be rational, she's going to.....:( Another amazing track and this time it's the finishing track, the chorus is again, just wow. Sounds like Ryan Tedder produced it, I always wanted Avril to do this kind of a ballad.

Best of the best: Falling Fast, Give You What You Like & Hello Heartache

WOW, just WOW!! What a record. It's definitely going to be my favourite album over GL, LG & UMS. But if it's going to outshine TBDT, only time will tell.

POP ALBUM OF THE YEAR !! ;)
This 5th album is very much aimed at a younger teen audience with childish antics and such, but it's got plenty of catchy tunes, and I think if radio actually played her again alot of these songs are potential hits.

Highlight: Let It Go
gutes Album
Ziemlich gutes Album! Wird aber warscheinlich kein Hit.
Highlights: Let Me Go / Bad Girl
Schwachpunkt: Hello Kitty (please Avril...NEVER AGAIN)
gut

Gerade Let me Go und Give you what you like halte ich für die besten Avril Lavigne Tracks seit Under My Skin!Extrem stark!
