Wenn man so singen kann wie diese drei Ladys hat man es wirklich geschafft und eine Gabe Gottes erhalten. Sie klingen denn auch wie Engel. Ein wunderbares Album mit traditionelleren Klängen aus einer Zeit, als man sich wieder auf solche Sounds besann. Toll!

Einfach traumhaft, was diese 3 Stimmen da zusammenbringen. 11 wunderschöne Titel mit abwechselnden Liedstimmen, traumhaften Harmonien und ganz toller Produktion.

Ende der 80er gab es endlich wieder eine Bewegung die den Traditional Country forderte und förderte.
Das Album orientierte sich daran und gefiel mir deshalb sehr gut. Aber es war auch mainstream genug um die Radio Country Hörer nicht zu verschrecken.

3+, und auch das nur dank "To know him"..Dolly Parton selbst, sagte 2002 dazu: "ich habe einen háufen fehler gemacht.."
Dollys Solo-Sachen sind mir lieber
For some reason, I knew I would love this before I even listened to it. The thought of three of my favourite country musicians of all time collaborating on an album is pretty promising! And this did not disappoint, with all three complementing each other vocally, and each artist sharing the spotlight equally.
The three women all have very distinct, different voices, so you can tell the contributions that each make, but for me, Dolly Parton always gives me goosebumps when she emotes in her music. The album is very traditional, solely consisting of covers, but they are amazing covers and are really effective emotionally.
If you thought Adele's 21 was depressing, this is OTT depressing. And I love it because of that! A very high 6 for me.
