am 5.12.1964 folgte ihr 4ter longplayer (#6 billboard). little st. nick sticht hier besonders heraus..
Falsch!
A rather disappointing album for them. I don't have anything against Christmas music normally but this just doesn't work for me.
As far as Christmas albums go, this is pretty neat... a mish mash of five original tracks (the standout out being "Little Saint Nick") and Christmas standards ("We Three Kings Of Orient Are" is one of the most sublime covers of this song ever put to tape). Overall it's a good Christmas record, not many artists are capably of coming up with their own Festive tracks, have a member (Brian Wilson) arrange all the string orchestrations, producer the record and perform as well...
