die erste single seines dritten albums. guter song fürs erste. haut mich nicht weg, aber ist gut, wieder mal etwas neues von olly zu hören. flo rida hätte es nicht unbedingt gebraucht...
This is the direction Maroon 5 should have gone to. Despite Flo Rida, this is excellent. Too early to call, but this could potentially be his best? We'll have to see.

Olly Murs klaut sich die Stimme von Adam Levine, den Songtitel von Taio Cruz und holt sich konjunkturellen Aufschwung durch Popnutte Flo Rida, die hier auch noch so sinnvoll eingesetzt wird wie ein zusätzlicher Verteidiger bei einem 2:0-Rückstand beim Fußball. Und dafür soll ich eine 4 oder 5 raushauen? Kinder, ne. Das ist mir doch zu billig und beliebig.
Yet another smooth and catchy track for Olly. Flo Rida isn't needed here, but at the same time he doesn't take too much away from the song. Also agree that it sounds very Maroon 5.
Ja je vraagt je toch af of Olly het echt nodig heeft om zo'n zwaar overschatte rapper als Flo Rida op zijn plaat mee te laten doen. Jammer, want zonder die stumper had ik hem een * extra gegeven.
Jammer dat Murs zich met zo'n flapdrol als Flo Rida laat zien. Verder prima single. In eerste instantie erg Maroon 5-ig, maar daarna toch een erg eigen sound. Leuk!
Ik vind het juist een héérlijk plaatje van Olly! De bijdrage van Flo-Rida is miniem en is zelfs niet eens zo heel erg slecht, dus ik begrijp het probleem met Flo van de meeste mensen niet zo goed. Anyway, het begint heel erg Maroon5-achtig, maar uiteindelijk is het gewoon een lekker popnummer van Olly Murs. Volle pot!
Inderdaad een plaatje dat uit de hoed van Maroon 5 kon komen. 'Troublemaker' heeft daarnaast gelukkig nergens de neiging om een song van Flo Rida te worden (alleen dat levert al pluspunten op). Echt iets achterlaten doet dit nummer niet, maar het is wat mij betreft catchy genoeg om de radio te halen!
hey first listen and I'm hooked, catchy pop track he sounds great. Once again boring and bland Flo Rida is an unecessary distraction so loose a point for his input..
Olly Murs is the cheesiest most predictable pop star out there and this particular song as already pointed out is actually called Misery by Maroon 5 but due to that single being a flop of sorts perhaps meant it was just off the radar for a backlash. Add to the mix rent-a-rapper Flo Rida and this is just annoying, time for something fresh i think. Olly's fourth UK#1 and Flo Rida's fifth UK #1. UK#1 and Ireland#3. US#25. Wow das geht schnell bei Olly Murs. Da kam doch grad erst der LP "In Case You Didn't Know" raus, den ich mir sogar anschaffte. Der Olly Murs interessiert mich und ich wollte ihn schon fast in die Jamie Cullum-Ecke stecken... Er schreibt, swingt, popt und hat gern mal eine richtig geile Bombe am Start ("Heart Skips A Beat").
Und jetzt höre ich "Troublemaker" und ja...mmmhh. Geht schon ins Ohr, ist symphatisch nice. Der letzte Kick fehlt jedoch.

"Someday out of the blue it will find you". Not blue perhaps, but maroon. I'd heard prior comparisons to "Misery" but then that song never really took off and I recalled a familiar song very easily; it must have been a big hit! ... Nope it was "Misery" :P But hey, I like "Misery", and not because of Maroon 5, but due to the killer catchy melody, so emulating that part does well for me. It doesn't fully copy it though because there's something I can't describe about it which comes off as so British that it can't be Maroon 5.
However, anyone who knows me knows that I need to mention one small detail of this: Freaking Flo Rida!!!!!! :P But he's okay on this I suppose. I haven't heard this enough to pull out anything embarrassing from his verse yet, so there's a positive. But yeah, this is really catchy. And like all good pop songs ("Spoonman", "Faces"), it has cowbell <3 :P. 3.5
Nach den ruhigen Stücken die er nach Heart Skips A Beat rausbrachte wieder was flottes.Und dann noch die Combi mit Flo Rida. TOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Riecht nach Hit.Auch wenns bissl Maroon 5 like klingt.
Nichts aufregendes, hat aber zum Teil schon wieder grossen Erfolg. Bin gespannt ob sich Olly halten kann, in den UK hat sich sein drittes Album ja nun auch schon über 500.000 mal verkauft - sein drittes in Folge! Das muss man erst noch schaffen...
"Troublemaker" ist einer dieser Pop-Songs, die nicht wirklich auffallen, dafür aber schnell ins Ohr gehen, wenn man sie öfters hört. Jedoch besteht auch die Gefahr, dass man sich schnell satt hört am Song. Bisher noch hinter "Heart Skips A Beat"... dank Dschungelcamp hat er aber genügend Push hier, dass es für seinen zweiten Top3 reichen könnte...

edit: Ok, nun muss ich da einfach die Höchstnote geben, langsam beginne ich, Olly doch zu mögen :) Astreiner Pop-Song, macht wirklich Laune. Als Lead-Single perfekt gewählt, da der beste Song des Albums.
I agree this could have been a Maroon 5 track. Chart friendly and deserving of its success. However I feel this uses a safe mainstream formula and because of this lacks any outstanding qualities.
Ca ressemble à du Maroon 5 de la belle époque :D (pas à la daube que Maroon 5 nous sert depuis 3 ans...) et ça fait franchement du bien cette fraîcheur! 5*
