Dannii Minogue shot to worldwide fame when she played a role in the Australian soap "Home & away". Just like big sister Kylie, releasing music would follow very soon. "Love and kisses" was her very first single, from the debut album by the same name, and it shot to #4 in homecountry Australia. In the UK, it had to settle for #8 in March 1991.

absolut belanglos..das es #1 und 6* würdig für Lark ist, wundert mich gar nicht..

Echt nichts weltbewegendes, schnell wieder vergessen. Auf dem Album gefielen mir "Success" und "Jump To The Beat" um einiges besser.

Auch Dannii hat musikalisch mal am Anfang gestanden, und dieser Track war genau dieser Anfang. Sommerlicher süsser Pop-Song gemischt mit Eurodance hinzukommend Danniis süsse Stimme. War zurecht ein Top 10 Erfolg in England und Australien.

Kenne den Song zwar nicht - habe aber einfach Lust, Dannii 5* zu geben!

Simply the worst song ever. I remember waiting for the radio debut on take 40 Australia. They kept me waiting until right at the end of the program. I stayed up for this? Even as a pop fan 15 years of age, i knew a quality pop song when i heard it, and this was not one of them. I cringed and felt my stomach turn as this song made its way into the top 10. We should be ashamed it got so far. What does the rest of the world think of us?

Cute, and okay.

▒ Zwakke dansplaat uit 1991 van de nu inmiddels 41 jarige Australische zangeres, actrice, fotomodel, kledingontwerpster en tekstschrijfster "Danielle Jane (Dannii) Minogue" !!! Uit de categorie 13 uit een dozijn !!! Ook bij mij blijft de teller op 2 sterren steken ☺!!!

... gelegentlich anhörbar, aber nicht gut ...

Looking back this is pretty rough around the edges. But I was sold on this back then. It goes into that basket of early '90s pop that seemed neatly packaged then but is well outdated today. The same would apply to the fashion in the video clip. Still lots of nostalgia though. 4.5*

Ach ja die Dannii, die kleine Schwester von Kylie, genauso süss anzusehen, aber musikalisch leider nie annäherend den Erfolg der Schwester erreicht - war halt aber auch kein "I should be so lucky" Vol.2 diese nette, aber doch ziemlich harmlose Pop-Nummer!
