Flo Rida läßt sich gern von alten Ladies aushalten - die Rolle von Etta James übernimmt nun Nina Simone - deren FEELING GOOD hier prominent gesampled wird. Nina rettet die 4 - ansonsten der gleiche Blödsinn.

Much better than 'Can't Believe It'. The sample (Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good') is a sample of another track (Billie Holiday's “Summertime”), so yet again Flo Rida samples another sample. The chorus is alright, but Flo Rida's verse it what you'd expect.

It's a lot better than "Can't Believe" It but it's just typical Flo Rida and typically uninteresting. It's okay though.

Infinitely better than "Can't Believe It". 3.5*.

Flo Rida geht mir zunehmend auf die Nerven. Wenigstens kann man sich das hier wieder anhören. Aber ohne Samples scheint bei ihm gar nichts mehr zu gehen.

Dem Herrn und seinen Produzenten fällt nun wirklich nichts anderes ein als bekannte Songs (hier Feeling Good) zu sampeln – abgerundete 1.5…

man kann nur hoffen, dass das kein Hit werden wird…

This is far and away Flo Rida's best ever I think. The sample is cool and the production and backing instrumental is surprisingly somewhat different and a little creative. Flo Rida's vocals are more tolerable and are more reminiscent of 'Low' than anything else.

Beyond awful. That fact that this is better than Can't Believe It is a mild blessing.

It's quite weird and not at all what I expected and that may see it grow on me somewhat, however for now I just find it irritating.

Ik vind dit toch opnieuw een typisch, maar een zeer fijn nummer van Flo Rida. Voor mij alvast 5 sterren!

Oh, this could be a hit for him. It's the usual Flo Rida formula (sample+house beat+rap about whatever), but it's good enough although it does sound like cheap stripper music.

If he manages to sample "Steal My Sunshine" next, I'll know he's messing with me :p That said, this one isn't totally useless. At least the strings are sort of attention grabbing. At the end of the 2nd verse, Flo Rida basically admits that he's a hack, which is hilarious. 2.8

Note: this was never one of the top 20 highest selling songs of the week in Australia, but it's a top 20 hit, lol.

Just heard this for the first time - typically awful Flo Rida, with verses forgotten the moment they're over and the chorus someone else's.

He hasn't had even a 'decent' single since Whistle. This is nothing different.

Deutliche Verbesserung seit diesem schrecklichen "Can't Believe It". Leider zu einseitig für eine Fünf, geschweige denn eine Sechs.

Kann der eigentlich auch irgendwas machen wo nichts gecovert ist oder ein Sample verwendet wird ?????

It's not as terrible as people make it out to be, but its still the same generic Dance we expect from Flo Rida these days.

A lot better than his last few singles but it's still the same structure in every Flo Rida song: a catchy chorus from another song and verses which nobody knows. The instrumental is nice though.

Immerhin versucht er hier innovativ zu sein. Etwas Abwechslung durch mehr Soulfaktor einzubringen. So richtig zünden will "How I Feel" nicht bei mir.

Und dem Titel wird es auch nicht gerecht. Dabei fühlt man ja gar nichts außer, dass es Wohlfühlpop für Zwischendurch ist.

The only way he was able to touch Nina Simone's record was because of the Bassnectar remix. Either way, it's horrible to hear a wonderful song like "Feeling Good" be absolutely ripped to shreds by Flo Rida.

Orginaliteit=0, kwaliteit=0, het enige waar je nog enigzins punten op kunt geven is het kostuum dat hij draagt in de clip. Muzikaal is hij één dikke 0.

Soo schlecht ist's gar nicht.

Er is maar één mooi eerbetoon voor 'Feeling Good' van Nina Simone: 'Feeling Good' van Huff & Herb uit 1997. Onwaarschijnlijk dat die Flo Rida nog altijd in de belangstelling staat, wat een onding!

Hätte noch schlimmer sein können, ist aber doch schon schlecht genug, dass sich Nina Simone im Grabe umdreht.

Ein flotter Stampfer, von dem ich bis letzte Woche noch nie was gehört hatte. Obwohl der Interpret nun nicht gerade zu meinen Favoriten gehört, kann ich die Eingängigkeit des Songs nur mit einer abgerundeten 4 belohnen.

Samples in allen Ehren, aber mit Einsatz solcher ganzen Songfragmente verhöhnen sie doch den Hörer. Es ist und bleibt ein zweischneidiges Schwert.

Eine gute Wertung gibt es, aber keinen Eintrag in Trekkers Playliste.
