This song has apparently caught the worlds imagination, the fastest selling single, it sold out of its first issue in two days. This song continues to be sought after and while it also keeps getting taken off you tube, hits around the world on various places tend amount to tens of thousands a week. As it is now 6 years past, you can see what an effect it has had on listeners.

I actually quite like Guy Sebastian, a real talent. This song is embarassing, excruciatingly bad, among the worst lyrics I've heard. He's still struggling to live it down.

Great winner's single for the first season, and one of the best contestants of Australian Idol. Great way to kick off a mammoth career for Guy.

It's an alright track. I'm fine with it being the top seller of the decade, considering the dross that it kept behind it!

Definition of the word 'soppy'.

At first it was cringeworthy, sounded like some sort of disney ballad. But over the years i've accepted it as being average.

As a coronation ballad it is quite good. Not the best coronation song for Australian Idol or the Idol franchise, but still listenable. To be honest, the winner's song could have been farts over a thumping bass track and it would have sold in the thousands. My main issue with the song is Guy's whiny vocals, which have no emotional depth to the them, which forces me to deduct 1 star from its overall rating.

mittelprächtige Ballade, geschrieben worden von Jörgen Elofsson und John Reid...Stück hätte zu einer Frau besser gepasst - abgerundete 3.5...

Probably still my favourite from him because I didn't follow much of his music after this. This was a real 'victorious' song at the time, it was so good that Guy won, my favourite :) The only Idol I was ever interested in.

Rührende bis schmalztriefende Ballade, samtweiche Stimme. Nicht schlecht. Wurde von ARIA auf Platz 1 der End Of Decade Top 100 Singles Chart platziert.

A nice debut for the charts, but that's about it for the song.

Really liked this back at its time of release, and it still holds up now. Was so happy when he won the first season of Australian Idol, and he's probably been the biggest success of the show.

Decent enough but nothing really good.

Ah I remember when Guy won Australian Idol. I never really thought much about this song then and now.

Typische Idol-Siegerballade ja, aber diese hier ist irgendwie extra langweilig.

Irgendwas zwischen sehr schön und Allerweltsballade! Der Song ist nicht schlecht, klingt aber halt wie so ein typischer Casting Winnersong - ist aber wirklich sehr schön gesungen!

Wärmende Kuscheldecke für einsame Herzen.
