The only good thing about this is that at the end of the rap, it sounds like Pitbull is requesting payment for his phoned in appearance, which amuses me. I'm not particularly fond of the cliche RedOne additions which prove to just make the song even more anonymous. 2.5

Das will nicht in meinen Kopf rein: Was haben die alle mit diesen Pitbull-Typen, der geht einfach nur noch kräftig auf die Eier! (Sorry für die Wortwahl!) Und wieso muss sie diesen Song nochmals veröffentlichen?

This "remix" is actually weaker than the original. Way too try-hardish and for a dance song this is actually difficult to move to (not that I'm much of a dancer). The stuttering is overdone and the chorus is overemphasised so the breakdown seems like nothing. It sounds very disjointed with the Pitbull rap in between the verses, it actually would've done better if they stuck with the very generic method of inserting the rap after the 2nd verse/chorus. I could go on for a while, but if you really are desperate enough to listen to this song, go to the original please!

Hätte ich doch nur mein spontanes Nickerchen durchgehalten, das ich mir nach 30 Sekunden des Songs auferlegt habe. Verpasst hätte ich nichts, bekommen hätte ich drei Minuten Entspannung. Immerhin: Pitbull stört hier nicht.

My biggest guilty pleasure this year and it is totally awesome, but in a very superficial way, although that has little to do with both Havana and Pitbull. It is RedOne who created this club monster and it is one of his best productions (most similar to Rain Over Me). The song also sounds incredibly fresh in a year dominated by Max Martin/Dr. Luke dance hits so I'm not surprised by it's success in the US. The beat is great, the structure is messy but it works. Compared to this the original sounds like a demo and I did moderately like the original.

It DOES have more life to it than the original I will admit. Understandably it does sound more catered to an American audience, but I find that to be its downfall. The drop here is better at least, but the insertion of Pitbull into the song completely negates that. He's not awful but he's no use to me at all. It's fine but I prefer the original version.

Ursprünglich dachte ich ja, Afrojack wäre der Produzent dieses Songs gewesen! Nach mehrmaligen Hören konnte ich doch zustimmen, dass RedOne hieran beteiligt war. Pitbull hätte, wie schon erwähnt, an dritter und letzter Stelle dieses Songs seinen Rappart haben müssen, da das so etwas unpassend erscheint. Wie auch immer, der Song ist absolute Bombe! Für den Club ein absolutes Muss!!!! Hier reichen sogar 6*!

Hier kann ich sogar was Positives verkünden. Das Original ist schon so grottenschlecht, das kann auch Bullshit-Pitbull nicht mehr verschandeln.

It's huge for her to get a collab this big, but I do like the original far more.
