Neue Single von JLo, feat. Pitbull und produziert von RedOne, schon wieder... Aber der Song ist gelungen. Ich habe einen sommerlichen Dance Pop Song erwartet und das habe ich bekommen. Vor allem den Beat finde ich gelungen (erinnert an manche Pop Songs von Nicki). Wird kein so grosser Hit wie "On The Floor", aber denke erfolgreicher als "Dance Again".

This is exactly what you expected from them. A real summer smash with a good beat.

Only a few years ago songs that were produced by RedOne sounded very fresh, but now he's one of the most generic producers out there. Still, the instrumental is the best thing about this because the rest is so god damn awful. Usually I don't mind Pitbull even if he only ever raps about climbing the social ladder, but he is horrible in this. And this hopeless bitch REALLY needs to shut the fuck up already.

Pittiplatsch ist mir hier ein wenig zu sehr loco, loco ... vor allem anfangs ... dann folgen ziemliche Blödibeats und typisches Drumherum ... die Kombination hört sich langsam aber sicher ziemlich alt an ...

Gut, heute wird ja mit 10,5 verkauften Einheiten alles ein Hit und ab 50 Einheiten gibt's schon Platin. Insofern würde es mich nicht wundern, wenn's Erfolg hat. Schön geht aber anders. Nein, nein, nein. Das nervt nur.

Anfangs dachte ich nur was das sei, aber tatsächlich ist's ein grosser Grower und ich kann mir vorstellen dass ich schon bald den Song lieben werde. Könnte ein grösserer Hit werden als "Dance Again", aber ein "On The Floor" wirds natürlich nicht.

die grandiose JLO ist zurück, zusammen mit ihrem lieblingsduo Pitbull und RedOne...tasächlich habe ich einen smash erwartet mit einem grandiosen Beat, denn JLO muss ja dem Trend folgen :P

Glücklicherweise habe ich das auch bekommen, meiner erwartungen waren sehr hoch, und sie wurden erreicht!!! geiler Song! freue mich aufs Video^^

Um welten besser als "Dance Again" und für mich auch ein wenig besser als "On The Floor", wird bestimmt ein grosser Hit, aber nicht so gross wir On the floor...

"On The Floor" war (und ist) der absolute Oberhammer, "Dance Again" gefiel mir auch sehr, sehr gut, aber mit "Live It Up" wird das Konzept nun doch ein bisschen langweilig. Solider Dancepop ist aber auch dieser Song immer noch, für einen kleineren Sommerhit gut.

First of all, this doesn't feel too much like a rehash of On The Floor and Dance Again despite being the 4th time now these 2 have collaborated. The instrumental is very interesting and engaging and suprisingly pitbulls raps are incredibly catchy. The chorus is bland and the song goes just about everywhere in the last minute. Rating this is hard because it feels more like I just listened to five songs instead of only the one. For now I'm going to commend them on trying something slightly different and interesting, but I'm going to give it a 3.5* for now.

Überladen, einfallslos und wieder mit dem nutzlosesten Straßenköter dieser Welt. Mitunter aber auch echt grausamer Electro-Schrott, der hier verhökert wird.

It seems like J Lo only collaborates with Pitbull so she can get a top 50 hit.

The chorus isn't okay and the other J Lo parts aren't too terrible but I absolutely loathe the parts with Pitbull in it. Pitbull is just so annoying and unoriginal. It's just a typical song that involves Pitbull with the usual things. Pitbull isn't the only thing that sucks about this though. The whole song is a massive mess. The breakdown is stupid and a massive mess, and I hate that noise before it (sounds like a champagne bottle popping to me) as well as that guy who talks before the breakdown.

It really annoyed me that this became a top twenty hit and stuck around for so long in the top 50 undeservedly due to being on iTunes New Singles To Watch thing for over a month. The other two J Lo songs that feature Pitbull, "Dance Again" & "On The Floor" are much better than this.

Hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass nach dem schlechten "Dance Again" nochmals ein so geiler Song kommt. Und das ich ihm dann auch noch auf Anhieb eine 5* geben kann. Respekt!

I don't hate it, but I think the Pitbull horse has been flogged enough.

Is it just me, or is this going down the 'Starships' route? Despite some promising moments this lacked cohesiveness and it is obvious they are trying way too hard to emulate their previous hits, while trying not to sound like it, which ended up in a huge mess. Especially dislike the breakdown and the bit before it.

Etwas wirrer Dancetrack, irgendwo zwischen "On The Floor" und "Dance Again". Der Part von Jennifer Lopez ist ganz ok, der Rest mässig!

Man darf hier einfach nicht mehr erwarten. Das ist in hochglanz verpackte Massenware ab der Stange ohne irgendwelchen Geist oder sonstwas drin - also sowas wie ein instrumentales Vakum...

Nicht alles was die beiden Gemeinsam machen wird zum Megahit - Zum Glück.

But yeah, this is kinda really bad. I don't necessarily have an issue with vapid lyrics, but at least try to make the product enjoyable at some level please? Or in this case, listenable?! "On The Floor" is suddenly a masterpiece compared to this dreck.

This charted egregiously high in Australia, not because of demand, but due to a careful iTunes strategy. The week iTunes finally ceased, the chart position became realistic (read: not in the top 78)

The chorus is moderately not horrendous but the rest of the song is quite terrible and is a total mess. This is probably the worst Pitbull has ever been.

Originally I was thinking "what's wrong with this? It has that drumroll-like rhythm part that reminds me of 'Run The World (Girls)', but besides that it's just fairly generic". But then someone made a kissing sound, and then that beat drop. What the feck did I just hear.

Zwischen fröhlich und tausend Mal schon gehört, über wiegt doch dann der bittere Beigeschmack. 2-3*

Mit Admönchen sicher, ansonsten nicht die ganz große Nummer des Kampfhunds und seiner Halterin mit dem einstmals berühmtesten Po der Welt!

Schließ mich Musikfreaky 93 an: RedOne und Co. haben hier zwar soundtechnisch gute Arbeit geleistet. Und auch Pitbulls Rap und Miss Lopez Gesang passen gut. "Live It Up" ist ein kleiner Ohrwurm zudem.

Was mich stört ist, dass sich der Song anhört als gibt es ihn bereits schon 100-fach.

Was spricht eigentlich dagegen, dass die Lopez wieder mehr zu ihren Wurzeln zurück kehrt? Latin- oder auch R&Bsounds in ihren aalglatten Popergüssen machten diese stets sehr hörenswert.

Het lijkt wel of deze "Jennifer Lopez" een abonnement heeft met "Pitbull"!! Het is tevens al de derde zomer dat deze samen werken en deze "Live It Up", is opnieuw een aardige dancetrack geworden!! Maar ik betwijfel of het even goed zal scoren als "On The Floor" & "Dance Again"?! Zekers géén bagger!! ☺

Heel goed nummer van J.LO en Pitbull, hopelijk een even grote hit al hun 2 voorgaande nummers.

Einzig der Refrain taugt was, das Übrige rangiert von nervig bis grausam.

Der Refrain sollte bei einem Song einschlagen! Hier kommt er daher wie ein laues Lüftchen. Pitbull bringt in den letzten Monaten nur noch Mist heraus! Am besten, er macht mal Urlaub! ;))

Was soll man erwarten ? Wäre super wenn mal wieder jemand innovativ sein könnte... Da ist man bei Pitbull aber sicher an der falschen Stelle.

Pretty decent J.Lo track but if only I could find a version without Pitbull because he just isn't needed.

This was just one Pitbull colab too many for J-Lo and again another big miss for her. TRASH!

In etwa auf dem Niveau der Jennifer-Lopez-Songs der letzten Jahre, wobei ich ihren Gesangspart durchaus hörbar finde - den Pitbull-Teil hätte es so aber nicht wirklich gebraucht. Abgerundete 3.

Bisher fand ich die Ergebnisse der beiden super und ich wurde auch diesmal nicht enttäuscht

I don't know what it is about this song but I can't help but love it. It's just an abundance of fun and so catchy. There was a point in 2013 where I could not get this out of my head. Nothing on some of J-Lo's best (Get Right, Do It Well, On The Floor), but still so good none-the-less.

Nach On the floor und Dance again dachte man sich wohl:

Der Prä-Chorus an dem Song hier ist noch dass beste.Ansonsten ganz schwache austauschbare Nummer.Kommt an die oberen beiden Songs überhaupt nicht ran!Wenn ich mir überlege was RedOne einst mit Lady Gaga für Knaller produzierte...

Nervöse Musik, die meine Zielgruppe eben nicht bedient. Gefällt mir nicht, wie eigentlich alles von dieser Sängerin.
