Yeezus! Auch wenn es DAFT PUNK produziert haben soll - der hölzerne Track überzeugt nicht, dafür hebt sich Kanye’s Ego einmal mehr in ungeahnte Höhen – über kurz oder lang – das Ding nervt.

Far too funny and ridiculous for me to truly dismiss, gets points for the 'lightning bolt' sound that immediately follows "till the day I get struck by lightning"

it does feel a bit gimmicky though, of course it's gonna be him claiming to be a 'god' in order to piss people off, so ultimately the song's audacity feels a bit predictable and silly, thankfully there's some other cool parts to the song that make it a keeper.

Haha, I love seeing Kanye find new ways to provoke & shock. I can't help but feel that he wrote the 'what up, Yeezus?' lyric with no idea where to go from there, so the lines following it are just awkward sounding.

No surprises in Kanye's self-aggrandizement and his being provocative, but this is a good song, albeit strange to listen to and oddly structured. 3.75*.

It probably could've been worse but in saying that it is poor. The production is really weird and not in a good way. I don't care for Kanye's contributions to the song. Also the title and the lyrics "I am a god" seem like a stupid attempt to create controversy for no good reason. I prefer the other two songs that I've heard from the album.

This song has really grown on me. The lyrics are great and sometimes unintentionally hilarious such as the croissant line.

Bei dieser Durchschnittsbewertung muss ich wohl ein gutes Wort für Kanye einlegen. Hammer Beat, nicht komplett ernstzunehmende Lyrics und paranoides Gekreische gegen Ende machen "I Am A God" zu einem Rapsong, wie man ihn nicht oft hört. Stark.
