In vergelijking met "Am I Wrong" is dit echt belachelijk slecht. Onbegrijpelijke keuze van 538 om Alarmschijf te maken.

It's starts off pretty cute until it becomes an unexpected break-up song. And a pretty bad one to be honest. First off, the 'featured' 'artists'. I honestly don't want to believe that Kid Ink & Bebe Rexha volunteered for this crap.

It's too fucking slow for them and the fact that they had to add the f word in the song just makes it feel like they're saying "look at us, we can swear" while trying to play it off like they're still innocent. Yeah, if your previous songs were quite clean, I would expect you to not do that. I expect profanity from artists such as Nicki Minaj or Chris Brown but not from Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding or Nico/Vinz. What a bunch of sellouts.

Besides, the song is too passive to even take seriously. So someone screwed up, do you think that someone would give a damn by writing a song with an Ed Sheeran instrumental accompanied by Miss EDM girl & generic hip-hop rap boy? Unlikely collaborations only work if you make a subtle blend of the two collab artists which is why I enjoyed that David Guetta collab in his album. It"s because it worked well and it was believable.

Holy hell, I don't think I've written such a long review in a long time so you can clearly see why I hate this so song so much. If you're gonna try an out an "explicit" tag on your song, at least don't put in two dollars that are likely to spit out profanities. It throws me off-guard and not in a good way.

EDIT: Hey, the clean version is on iTunes! That version is listenable but still really pathetic compared to their last two singles.
I'd like to think of myself as being fair and unbiased when listening to new songs from artists I have not heard before (or when listening to new songs from artists in general), as I don't want one song from an artist dictating whether I like the rest of their discography or not.

I guess you could say that a bias of sorts against Taylor Swift, but in all honesty, I think my dislike of her has dropped with the singles released from her last album. Barring "Shake It Off", there is nothing else I gave a 1*, and I do recognize that she possesses the ability to write some good lyrics at times. However, I still didn't like it for the most part, but I still would have given those songs the same rating if it had been sung by another singer as well.

Anyway, putting that example aside, let's move on to this.

When the first song I listen to from an artist is good, a large majority of the time, I will go on to like that artist and their next few songs, and despite my efforts to be unbiased, I might tend to overpraise their next few songs, until I calm down and re-rate them according to what scores they are actually worth.

Nico & Vinz, however, are going against the trend. Despite all the goodwill they generated from "Am I Wrong" (my #3 song of last year), I can objectively and conclusively tell you that this is shit.

When I first heard this on the radio a couple of days ago, of course I was willing to give it a chance because it was Nico & Vinz. But I had to turn it off in the first 30 seconds because I had cringed too many times by that point, even by the standards of a shitty pop song.

Just a read through of the lyrics tells you you have nothing to work with here. Pop culture references, unnecessary swearing and some of the worst lines for a mainstream pop song I've heard in a long time.

Here is just a selection of some of the worst lines:

"You were big city living; girlfriend like Eva Mendes"

"Now you're alone and crying; inside, you're slowly dying/ Cause Magic Mike just got your key"

"You were the man in college; got a degree in awesome"

"And had more zeroes in your bank than all the Matrix coding"

You can also add every chorus on top of that as well.

To compound the misery, Bebe Rexha and Kid Ink just both sound so incredibly out-of-place, and that acoustic guitar for this type of song has been done a million times before.

Is is true that Nico is unemployed and Vinz has a cocaine addiction? It might explain the drop in quality with each song they release.

In the end, though, it is when you have released a song this bad that "you know you fucked up".
Not for me. Kid Ink is crap, Bebe Rehxa is generic enough to belong on a Robin Schulz song and Nico & Vinz are personality free. The song is bland and the only part I find slightly enjoyable (the "ooh" section in the chorus) is surrounded by a lame and uninspiring line repeated far too often. This song has nothing to say and nothing to offer except seemingly endless repetitions of "fucked" to try and reach edgy status but it's really just useless and dull.
Well this is rather dire. 2.5
This somewhat reminds me of 'Because I Got High'. This is not I good thing.

Also, what's wrong with Norway you ungrateful bastards? :P
Not as bad as I expected but the radio edit version with you messed up instead is so lame. The original version is somehow OK.
Selbstironisch und durchaus charmant.
/r/TIFU, the song
this has made people angry?
I wrote a haiku

Knappe 3.
First 4+ star review. Go me! :P
A song that is a chore to listen to. It sucks on several levels and I have wanted to change stations a few times on this already. Bebe's signature mid song is annoying.
Lame and awful. Nico & Vinz are a scourge on current pop music, like no s***, I have no idea why I dislike them so much but I just can't stomach this whatsoever. And Bebe Rexha is not much better, she seems so desperate and I haven't liked anything from her thus far (my love for Hey Mama was helped by the fact that I thought Nicki sung the chorus). So that means Kid Ink is the most enjoyable part of this track, but his input can not save the 1*
Sehr seichte Nummer.
