Wieder sehr arschlastig - die Nummer - aber der Beat ist sehr slick, der Ne-Yo Einsatz kommt gut - insgesamt eine solide Dance-Pop-Produktion.

Wer einen Banger erwartet wie "Give Me Everything" der beiden, wird hier enttäuscht!
Gut man sollte halt auch nie hohe Erwartungen haben, wen es um Pitbull geht xD

Durchschnittlicher Track, der aber auch ein gewisses Potential hat und ein kleiner Hit werden könnte in einigen Charts.

Ich finde den Song cool. Nicht so gut wie "Give Me Everything", jedoch Catchy und Ne-Yo's Stimme hat einfach das gewisse Etwas was in jedem Song die Endnote anhebt. Ich finds gut und hat aus meiner Sicht sogar noch Grower Potenzial. Im Moment 5*

Niet eens het slechtste van beide heren, maar de combinatie is uiteraard al dodelijk.

Pitbull & Ne-Yo nach vier Jahren wieder gemeinsam auf einer Platte. Im Vergleich zu dem, was die Beiden damals veröffentlichten, fällt diese Single deutlich schlechter aus. Gute 2*

Eerlijk is eerlijk: ik vind dit een erg lekker plaatje. Pitbull is eens níét irritant en Ne-Yo zorgt voor een catchy refreintje. Een positieve verandering ten opzichte van dat irritante 'Fireball'. Lekker feestplaatje!

Pitbull's lyrics are hilarious and awful, while Ne-Yo is just a pile of nothing.

Bizarrely depressing club track that goes for the Daft Punk vein and misses miserably. It could be much worse though, and Ne-Yo doesn't do too badly. 2.75

I actually like how depressing this sounds, it makes it a bit different than other club songs. Despite people calling him unoriginal, Pitbull excels at following the latest trends in music and this is just a further proof. I'm expecting a deep house smash next.

This song actually really deserves commendation. I mean, think what Pitbull represents in popular music. He's on an endless high of vapid party songs about good times he's having, that, considering the state of the world in the last 6 or 7 years, the average person really can't relate to. So the interesting thing about "Time Of Our Lives" is that it modifies the narrative. It's about partying, mindless partying you might even say. But it's mindless partying to drown sorrows over tough financial times. The ideal portrayed here isn't a dumb bludger, but someone who 'work[s] [their] ass off' and STILL can't make ends meet.

By playing it this way, it excels for two things. One, it's Pitbull being honestly relatable to a realistic audience for which he always stuck out in the wrong way for this era. And two, as I sort of explained just before, it's putting a logical enough justification for all the mindless partying. After all, life is short, why waste your time stuck at home writing paragraphs about Pitbull when you can actually be out there living it up?!

Outside of that, it's not the best composed Pitbull track, but it's up there. The beat can feel a little limp, but Ne-Yo is at least a saving grace along the way. The one time I feel the beat works best is towards the end, as the bridge closes and it snaps right back into action. So thumb is bloody up. 3.9

However I must note that 'She's on fire; she's so hot' is a terribly written lyric, almost on par with Nicki's 'duct tape' line.

Stimmt, sehe ich ähnlich. Hatte den wieder einmal irgendwie verpasst, wobei sein Peak überraschend tief (hm, tiefe Chartspositionen bedeuten hohe Zahlen, fällt mir grad auf) war. Gute 4.

one of the most fun pitbull songs ever, even though some of his lyrics are more cheesy than usual, i still like his performance due to his charisma & ne-yo delivers a fun hook & bridge at the end. Also the topic of the song is pretty interesting.
