Rihanna goes Dubstep - und zwar nicht soften weichgespülten wie Justin Bieber mit "As Long As You Love", sondern richtigen! Gefällt mir sehr, dass sie solchen Sound wagt. Jedoch ist mir der Übergang zum Dubstep-Part zu abrupt, stört mich aber nicht gross. Ich gebe mal 5*, kann sich aber durchaus nach oben ändern, wenn ich die Vollversion gehört habe!

Edit: Wie schon gedacht, muss ich hier nach oben erhöhen. Toll!

This is very good. The breakdown is very Skrillex, but it works very well.

Rihanna covert?! Hätte ich nie gedacht. Dubstep mag ich, hier kommt's aber nicht so gut rüber. Trotzdem ein guter Song, vielleicht gefällt er mir mit der Zeit mehr.

edit: Nun einen Stern rauf. Für mich eines der Highlights auf dem Album. Auch wenn der Dubstep mittlerweile wieder etwas altbacken rüber kommt, gefällt mir "Jump" sehr und hoffe auf einen Single-Release!

Nun ja, ein reines Cover ist es ja nicht. "Jump" enthält nur Elemente aus dem Song "Pony" von Ginuwine. Überraschenderweise gefallen mir gerade die Dubstep-Breaks am wenigsten, insgesamt ist es aber trotzdem ein sehr guter Pop-Song. Gerade der Einstieg in den Song ist gelungen!

Und wieder ein Refrain, der mir den letzten Nerv raubt. Wiederholt sich endlos und fällt durch den aggressiven Beat zusätzlich negativ auf.

Einfach der Knaller hab lange gneug gewartet um so ein lied auf ihrem album zufinden der refrain überzeugt einfach und ihre stimme ist der burner!!!!!!!!!

Geweldige plaat lekkere R&B invloeden en ook nog eens dat heerlijke Dance Rihanna heeft zich hier echt overtroffen

een stukje tekst zingt ze hier op een manier van een ander liedje maar geen idee welke dat is

I don't like the sample of Pony but I quite like this song the breakdown is great.

Bis auf den meiner Meinung gelungenen aber leider zu kurz geratenen Dubstep-Teil, einfach wieder nix. Langweilige Strophen und ein lustloser Gesang von Rihanna - das nenn' ich mal schwach. 2*

Hahaha. I found this a hot mess at first and that hasn't changed much, but regardless it's just so good. The song is very catchy so I can ignore the rather trashy lyrics. Also that breakdown! :D Just so awesome and easily the highlight for me. Very well produced. A rather random single choice and I find it amusing that it went top 5 and outpeaked "Diamonds" while it was at it. The second best I've heard from "Unapologetic".

I enjoy this song a tiny bit more than I should.

The breakdown is alright (I particularly like the part at the end of the breakdown), but the lyrics are typical of Rihanna.

I don't really like these types of songs from Rihanna, but this one got me from the start. I'm quite over these try hard break downs so it is a 3 for now.

If this came out a few years ago I'm sure I wouldn't like it, so I guess Rihanna's caught me in a good mood. I think this plays to her strengths too, as she does a great job of stringing together syllables into a catchy melody. The breakdown is err, kind of funny, especially that they play something like that on the radio. But the synths make it sound menacing like a sped up "Sail", which works well for me.

Sounds a little like "Cry Me A River" in the "you don't need another lover" section. Not Rihanna's worst but hardly great.

I think with familiarity this track has only just passed as a decent offering to me, it hasn't set the world on fire but it just does enough to accept it for what it is, I too find it amusing that radio went with this aswell.

And radio surprisingly went with this because I think everybody who listened to Ginuwine's 'Pony' now knows it the chorus is a HUGE double entendre.

A good dance track but I have struggled to get into her singles since Diamonds and Stay.
