gute Compilation, CD 1 enthält die Bobo-Hits der 90er,
CD 2 sind Live-Orchestral Versionen, neu interpretiert ;)
Bonus Tracks "Opposites Attract" & "Shake it Easy" geht so...
ABER die Cover-Version von "Love & Devotion" ist ganz gut :)

"Schon wieder eine Best of?" mag man sich fragen und darüber streiten.
Gut, 25 Jahre DJ BoBo ist bestimmt Grund und Anlass genug dazu.

CD1 bietet eine bekannte Übersicht über die vergangenen 25 Jahre, natürlich ohne auf Vollständigkeit zu beharren.
Geil finde ich, dass mit einem meiner Lieblinge begonnen wird: "Freedom" - und es kracht schon das erste Mal so richtig durchs Wohnzimmer. Es folgen "Everybody", "Somebody dance with me" und "Pray" - Das Herz schreit BINGO!. Bei "There is a Party" das erste geskippt, "Keep on dancing" nochmals gefeiert und dann weiter mit Track 10 "Believe", "Take Control", "What a Feeling" und 13 "Let the Dream come true" weiter gefeiert. Mit 16 dann nochmals ein Liebling: "Secrets of Love" mit Sandra. Interessanterweise als Abschluss von CD1 der Classic/Dance-Titel "Shadows of the Night" um danach in der Downloadvariante direkt in den Orchesterpart mit dem 21st Century Orchestra & Chorus einzutauchen. Gelungen!

CD2 hingegen ist cool, auch wenn ich mir persönlich lieber ein Studioalbum mit dem 21st Century Orchestra & Chorus gewünscht hätte; Live-Aufnahmen sind nicht so mein Ding.
Es fägt aber ordentlich! Besonders gelungen für mich die Titel 31-33: (Take Control/Let the Dream come true/Pray/Freedom) etwas enttäuschend hingegend "Somebody dance with me" und "Vampires are alive".

Von den 3 neuen Titel sticht keines wirklich hervor.

Ich vermisse auf CD1 lediglich "Vampires are alive", "Because of you" und "Celebrate"

Jaja, wenn die Karriere am ende ist, es ist Zeit für Best Of Albums!

Seine 90er Songs finde ich natürlich Top, aber diese CD ist wirklich unnötig, seine letzte Best Of erschien im Jahr 2014!

Schon wieder ein "Best of"?? Was soll das? Zeigt, dass die eigene Karriere zu Ende geht und einem nix mehr einfällt. Vielleicht noch für Andrea Berg, aber auch die tönt ja immer gleich.

Das Material ist mehrheitlich gut und rechtfertigt im Ganzen eine solide Vier, wenngleich der Franzel schon bei der Bühnenpremiere des Mannes (1993 oder 1994 müsste das gewesen sein) "viel zu alt" für diese Musik gewesen ist...
